Job Description
The Transactional Services team builds some of the most foundational distributed systems that underpin and power many large AWS services. We build and own a high performance, highly available replicated log service used by a range of AWS services as a commit log and for streaming data.
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to own and build a major component of our control plane. Your work will be critical to the scalability and availability of the service. As a foundational AWS service, your contributions will have a large, positive impact for AWS customers.
Job responsibilities include:
* Designing and developing distributed, highly available, and scalable systems including capacity management and orchestration for a service handling over 100 million operations per second.
* Providing input to project plans and delivery commitments, and developing quality features in line with those commitments.
