We're hiring: Full Stack Software Development Engineer (Cape Town, Hybrid)

Recap is on a mission to build data-driven funding products that power real-world impact, and we're growing our engineering team.

The role

You'll design, build, and maintain scalable systems at the heart of our funding platform. Working across the stack, you'll collaborate closely with product and operations to deliver secure, high-performance solutions as we scale.

Tech you'll work with

Python (FastAPI), TypeScript, , PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in full-stack software development
• Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, and modern web frameworks
• Solid understanding of system design, cloud infrastructure, and relational databases
• A problem-solver who values clean code, testing, and collaboration
