Summary of Duties:

Provision of Social Work services to clients and families in Odette’s Patient & Family Support Program caring for patients with breast cancer at an advanced level of practice within an interprofessional model (0.6 FTE).

0.1 FTE (equivalent to a half day per week) would be dedicated to supporting patients seen in the IndYGO (Individualized Care for Gynecologic Oncology Patients) Clinic . The IndYGO Clinic provides specialized care and support for young patients with gynecologic malignancies. As part of the multidisciplinary team, the social worker would provide psychosocial support to patients and their families, including mental health counseling, grief support, and facilitation of patient support groups.
