Social Worker

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Social Worker role based in Kuching. The Social Worker will conduct intake assessments, identify needs, and develop individualized support or intervention plans for community members. This role includes providing counseling, crisis support, and referrals to appropriate health, social, and community services. The Social Worker will coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and community partners to ensure integrated and timely support. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate case records, monitoring progress, preparing reports, and contributing to community outreach, education, and group activities. The Social Worker will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, support program planning and improvement, and uphold ethical, culturally sensitive, and trauma‑informed practice.
