Overview

To provide high standard of social work for users out of the councils duties and powers under legislation and accordance with divisional and area policy, procedures, guidelines and the Code of Care practice for social workers.

To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing professional social work supporting adults with mental health problems in the framework of seven social care outcomes including:

• Improved health and emotional well being
• Improved quality of life
• Making a positive contribution
• Exercising choice and control
• Economic well being and freedom
• Freedom from discrimination

• Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
