Social Service Assistant (Children's Home)

Job Role & Requirements
Working with girls, the successful candidate helps create and maintain a child-centred, homelike therapeutic community that is responsive to residents' developmental needs, enabling them to grow holistically, work towards emotional stability, and develop their full potential.
Duties (not limited to the following) include:
Carry out daily operational duties, such as supervising residents' routines (meals, school, chores, and attendance at programmes), maintaining up-to-date documentation, and ensuring the premises are kept clean.
Participate in shift-to-shift communication, which includes completing daily documentation and providing important handover information to staff at the change of every shift.
Assess and respond to crises or conflicts and escalate to the Residential Manager/Head of Home when needed.
