SMT Engineer

This role focuses on end-to-end ownership of SMT equipment and process reliability , from maintaining high-precision machinery (Printers, SPI, Pick-and-Place, Reflow) to achieving aggressive OEE and CPH targets. You will drive NPI integration and Industry 4.0 initiatives by validating process stability through statistical analysis (Cp/Cpk, GR&R) while ensuring strict adherence to IPC quality standards and rapid CAPA resolution.

Responsibilities

• Drive the performance and reliability of a full-scale SMT line (including Panasonic/ASM placement, Koh Young SPI, and AOI) by managing precision calibration and PM schedules
• Maximize line efficiency by hitting aggressive OEE and CPH targets while utilizing root-cause analysis to eliminate recurring technical failures.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) setups, optimizing everything from stencil design and reflow profiles to validating stability through Cp/Cpk, MSA, and GR&R studie...
