Small Engine Mechanic

A full-time vacancy exists for a qualified Small Engine Mechanic, to work in the Sydney area for the company Advance Cranes Pty Ltd

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required if holding the equivalent of an AQF Certificate IV (or an equivalent AQF III Certificate with two years of on-the-job training), otherwise 5 years relevant experience required. Sound knowledge of English also required.

Salary package – $77,673 per annum + superannuation

Duties include:

• Maintaining, testing and repair of tower cranes and other small engine devices used by the company

• Troubleshooting and maintaining the above, including diagnosing faults in engines and related parts

• Ensuring optimum system integrity, backup and performance of engines of cranes and associated equipment

• Attendance at short courses and other learning venues for the maintenance of professional skills
