Job Description
The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System (OCVAHCS) is actively recruiting a board-certified, board-eligible full-time permanent hospital employed Pulmonologist- critical care and sleep medicine to join our Pulmonary department. The Physician is accountable to the Chief of Pulmonary Service. The Pulmonary physician participates in inpatient and outpatient care related to pulmonary diseases, disorders and critical care diseases at the OKC VA. The Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice provides consultation and management for a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep related disorders. Pulmonary specific responsibilities include clinic-based visits, hospital consults and pulmonary procedures (diagnostic bronchoscopy and basic pleural procedures). Sleep specific responsibilities include management of sleep related breathing disorders and interpretation of overnight oximetry.
