Skilled Aircraft Fitter

Certain Advantage is working with a manufacturing business in the aerospace sector that designs, manufactures and delivers commercial aircraft, including a separate Space and Defense division.

Role

Aircraft Technician (contract basis, site‑based in Bristol). You'll work as part of a small, experienced, and collaborative team, focusing on various aircraft with an emphasis on the A400M.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering instructions and aircraft drawings
• Use power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing
• Perform tasks required on aircraft maintenance and modification

Qualifications

• Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship or equivalent
• Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills Level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field
