POSITION: CHILD & YOUTH PROGRAM ASSISTANT SALARY: SKILLBRIDGE $0  STATUS: MUST APPLY FOR A MINIMUM OF 180 DAYS           
HOURS:   Monday-Friday 40 HOURS PER WEEK

LOCATION:    Armed Services YMCA Regional Location - 1465 Lakeside Road, VA Beach, VA 23455 and our affiliate locations  throughout Hampton Roads.

ASSIGNMENT The CYP Skillbridge Intern will work closely with peers, under the direct supervision of the Child & Youth Programs Director to implement high-quality child care that meet the social-emotional needs of students, ages 3-12 years. Interns will provide a FUN, happy and safe learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal character development through interactive, engaging activities.  This position requires an enthusiastic, caring, child-centered professional with excellent communication and people skills that foster positive interactions with students, staff, families and the community.
