Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


+ Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project

+ Sourcing the materials to be used in the project

+ Measuring and cutting materials to specifications

+ Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together

+ Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints

+ Able to pass various welding certification tests

+ Works with conventional and precision measuring instruments

+ Performs process inspection, certification, and documentation

+ Maintains welding equipment through maintenance activities


Grinding and Finishing:


+ Skilled at grinding

+ Finishes product through us of various manual and power grinding tools

+ Performs routine maintenance on grinding equipment
