Job Description
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment at a U.S. Army contractor site focused on equipment turn-in, retrograde, and property disposal operations. This role ensures adherence to OSHA, DoD, and Army safety standards and actively promotes a culture of safety among all site personnel and subcontractors.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
+ Recordable incident rate (RIR).
+ Number of safety training hours completed per month.
+ Near miss and hazard report closure rate.
+ Audit and inspection pass rate.
+ Compliance with site-specific safety plan.
