   The Opportunity:  
 
 Our client, a leading financial institution is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), for an initial 12-month contract with scope for extension. This role is Melbourne based and will require 3 days per week in the office.
 
   The Role:
   
 This role offers a unique opportunity to define and drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns, improve incident response times, and support compliance and vulnerability management. We are looking for an experienced SRE with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and monitoring. Your responsibilities will include:
 Defining and driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns and automation approaches.
 Practicing sustainable incident response using playbooks and automated recovery mechanisms.
 Developing in-depth monitoring and alerting for production stacks.
