Site engineer

A leading renewable energy developer, owner, and operator is recruiting for a Site Engineer to support the delivery of a utility-scale Solar PV and BESS project in South Africa. This is an owner’s team role focused on site execution, contractor management, QA/QC oversight, progress tracking, reporting, and technical coordination during construction and commissioning. Responsibilities:

Oversee site engineering and construction activities

Monitor EPC contractor performance against project requirements and schedule

Coordinate inspections, testing, QA/QC processes, and site documentation

Track project progress, risks, delays, and corrective actions

Support design implementation and variation management

Prepare site reports and progress updates

Coordinate between contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders

Ensure compliance with technical standards and contractual requirements
