Heavy Duty Plant Fitter

Reporting to: Site Manager/Directors

Location: Recycling Yard (Merseyside)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 47 ½ hours per week at £24.00 - £26.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) Overtime rate at £32.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 12:00 Saturday (when required) Additional hours as needed for maintenance and emergency repairs

Holiday: 28 days per year (including bank holidays)

Pension: Company pension scheme

Purpose: To carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs of all heavy plant and wash plant equipment used in the recycling operation. The role ensures continuous, safe, and efficient operation of machines including excavators, loading shovels, crusher, screener, and wash plant.
