Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Band 7 Senior Sister / Charge Nurse to join the Cardiac High Dependency Unit within the Cardiovascular and Thoracic (CV&T) care group.

CHDU is a 20-bedded cardiac high dependency unit. The unit caters for mixed speciality adult patients including cardiac surgery, congenital heart disease, thoracic and cardiology patients requiring specialist high dependency care.

Job responsibilities

As a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse you will be expected to promote the delivery of a high standard of patient-centred care. With the support of the Matron you will analyse, monitor and implement actions that ensure the service delivery is safe and effective in line with the Trust values.
