Siemens Controls Engineer

We’re looking for a Controls Engineer to join a fast-paced team working onsite at Tesla’s Fremont, California facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning and implementing the solution from project concept to installation; this includes machine concepting, proof-of-principle, electrical design/layout, software design/programming, debug of hardware/software, acceptance testing, and installation/integration at the factory.

If traveling more than 50 miles from the location, per diem will be provided.

Responsibilities Programming and debugging structured text and ladder logic (mainly on Siemens TIA Portal) Writing clean, organized, and reusable code Building complex machine sequences for automation tasks like material handling, fastening, welding, testing, etc.
