Job Description

Position Purpose:

The Bates Shuttle Driver working through Bobcat Express transports students in vehicles, including up to 11-passenger vans, to and from off-campus locations within the surrounding Lewiston-Auburn community. 
Job Duties:
Transports students from campus to locations in Lewiston-Auburn area in a timely manner.

Transports students having mobility assistance needs between locations on campus and in Lewiston-Auburn area in a timely manner.

Behaves professionally and with courtesy toward student passengers.

Inspects the Bates vehicle at the beginning of each shift for cleanliness, scratches, dents, and other damage. If any of these discrepancies are noted, the Bates Bobcat Express Shuttle Driver should report it to the Transportation Coordinator at the Campus Safety Office.

Monitors and ensures that the fuel level of the vehicle does not go below 1/4 of a tank.
