Murphy Company is currently looking for a Shovel Operator at our White City, Oregon softwood veneer plant.
Murphy Company is a family owned and leading North American manufacturer of high-quality wood products. We operate six facilities throughout Oregon and Washington.

Primary Purpose – The facility operates in a shift-work environment that emphasizes safety, team building, total quality, and continuous process improvement. The Shovel is used to high pile and break down high-piled log decks and is occasionally used to sort logs by species.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities –
+ Performing pre-shift checks on the shovel
+ Fueling and greasing the shovel
+ Straightening logs
