Job Description

The Shipping Team Lead owns the daily flow of goods in and out of our Pointe-Claire facility. You’ll lead a team of shipping clerks, coordinate dock activity, ensure orders go out on time and in good condition, and keep the receiving side organized and accurate. This needing to be told how.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a go‑to point of contact for the shipping department, solve floor‑level issues, and escalate when it matters.
• Plan and assign daily tasks; build weekly staff schedules based on volume, priorities, and labor.
• Coordinate dock scheduling around trailer availability, space, and shipment separation requirements.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure all client deadlines and delivery windows are met.
• Oversee truck loading and unloading; ensure orders are staged, verified, and dispatched correctly.
