**Job Description**

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

**Responsibilities**

+ Complete receipt verification for purchasing and customer-supplied materials.
+ Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
+ Receive and process defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
+ Coordinate proper storage of materials.
+ Arrange appropriate packaging for shipping.
+ Administrate computerized Inventory System.
+ Generate shipping documentation.
+ Make arrangements for pickup by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order.
