Shipping and Logistics Operator

About the role

Permanent full‑time role with an R2 shift roster (2 days/2 nights, 4 days off). Supported by a safety‑driven team that values inclusion. This physically active, hands‑on position is based at Tiwai Point, Invercargill. You will play a key part in ensuring safe and efficient shipping and logistics operations across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across wharf operations.
• Support material handling processes in key areas including Torbeds, Bath Plant, Metal Yard and bulk materials.
• Operate heavy mobile plant such as loaders, excavators, trucks, ship unloaders and bath plant.
• Operate additional plant and equipment as required across the department.
• Drive improvement initiatives aligned with team and site priorities.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational outcomes.
