This position is responsible for safe operation with a forklift as well as other labour duties. Work is conducted in a normal production environment with exposure to temperature changes and safety hazards associated with general labour.

Responsibilities

• Material handling of customer orders
• Safely operate a clamp/forklift inside plant and in trailers
• Operate and unload squeeze trailers
• Material handling of foam blocks and other material to/from plant areas, trailers and production lines
• Moving rolls to/from shipping dock and loading/unloading trailers
• Use RF Scanner to accurately scan labels for processing loads
• Maintain shipping and manifest forms
• Ensure daily equipment inspections are performed
• Remove porta-racks from production to storage
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
