Shipboard Elevator/Conveyor Logistician, Junior (Navy)

THOR Solutions is actively seeking a junior-level Logistician with U.S. Navy shipboard experience to provide full-time support for U.S. Naval shipboard elevator/conveyor systems at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA. An ideal candidate will have completed at least one shipboard tour in a logistics, parts, or supply-related role.

Typical Responsibilities:

+ Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for Cargo/Weapons Elevators, Aircraft Elevators, Deck Edge Doors, Hanger Bay Divisional Doors, Vertical Package Conveyors and other assigned equipment. 

+ Accompany elevator assessors aboard U.S. Navy ships and confirm that shipboard elevator/conveyor configurations match technical documentation.

+ Complete material readiness assessment reports as defined by the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), Vol. IV, Chapter 8.

Location: Onsite at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA.
