Job Title: Shift Leader
Division: Weir Minerals (HBF)
Location: Qgeberha
Purpose of Role: Co‑ordinate the melting team during the shift to ensure safe and efficient operations in the foundry. Provide support to the team to ensure safety, quality and productivity levels are maintained. Ensure company policies are implemented and upheld. Foster a positive work environment and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the melting personnel on shift; monitor and improve production efficiencies, manage cycle times and ensure production targets are met; motivate and encourage the team and foster teamwork. Maintain the integrity of the ISO 9001 system; ensure policies and procedures are followed; apply continuous improvement through controlled management of change.
