Sheetmetal Worker

**Summary:**

Seasonal Contract position supporting the National Science Foundation managed United States Antarctic Program as part of the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). Sheetmetal Worker performs sheetmetal metal fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks on maintenance or construction projects, or any combination thereof. Tasking is based on ASC schedule requirements.

**Position Responsibilities (not all inclusive):**

+ Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly and installation on maintenance and construction projects

+ Perform layout and fabrication of ductwork and building components, using mechanical fasteners or welding

+ Performs a variety of sheetmetal fabrications for heating and ventilation systems and building components using a variety of sheetmetal forming tools and equipment

+ May be required to assist with insulation projects

+ Timely response to emergency service calls during and outside of normal worki...
