We are seeking a skilled Shear Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating shearing machines to cut metal materials to specified dimensions, ensuring precision and quality in every cut. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate power shears to cut metal objects such as plates, sheets, slabs, billets, or bars to specified dimensions and angles.
+ Adjust rake and pressure of the blade using handwheels.
+ Position and clamp stops and side guides to set the length and angle of the cut using rules, built-in gauges, or templates.
+ Start the machine to clamp the workpiece and lower the blade to cut the metal.
