Job Summary

Provide training and ongoing support to a team of 25-30 sewing machine operators.

• Monitor individual and department output, coach, teach and train staff to ensure production targets are met.
• Monitor quality.
• Effective communication with management and maintenance to ensure machinery is maintained and repaired with minimal downtime.
• Assist on the production floor in the case of backlogs or new product implementation.
• Workflow analysis; line balancing to ensure the room is operating efficiently and identify opportunities for employee cross training.
• Prioritizing employee morale and safety in the department.
