About the role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sewing Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products to specification and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating industrial sewing machine (e.g. lockstitch, overlock, coverstitch)
• Reading and following patterns, measurements and work instructions
• Producing consistent, high-quality stitched products
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and keeping work areas tidy
• Meeting production targets while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a sewing machinist
• Ability to work with a variety of fabrics/materials
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
