Setter/ Operator Press - Days Accrofab Alcester Production - Shop Floor

We have a vacancy within our Manufacturing Department and are currently recruiting for the role of Setter/ Operator Press on a Permanent Basis. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.

Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week working the Day Shift; 07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and Friday 07.30 to 12.30 with designated breaks.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Use and control of Presses in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, tool shut height, stroke, tonnage, dwell and lubrication
• Understanding of and safe use of air tools and hand tools.
• Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
