Sessional Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Position Summary

Applicants are invited from qualified individuals to instruct in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at North Island College (NIC). The BSN program is offered in partnership with Vancouver Island University.

The sessional instructional assignment, up to 100%, involves teaching the practice course NUR 175: Consolidated Practice Experience Ito a cohort of BSN students using a face-to-face delivery method at the Comox Valley campus.
Note: Candidates must have current clinical expertise and experience in Community, Adult Medicine, Adult Surgery, Older Adult, Mental Health, and/or Women & Children area of practice. Practicum placements will take place in a variety of practice settings and may require travel. Applicants need to have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
