Sessional Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Position Summary

Applicants are invited from qualified individuals to instruct in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at North Island College (NIC). The BSN program is offered in partnership with Vancouver Island University.

The sessional instructional assignment, up to 50%, involves teaching the practice course NUR 204: Nursing Practice III – Promoting Health and Healing to a cohort of BSN students using a face-to-face delivery method within a Campbell River practice agency.
Note: Candidates must have current clinical expertise and experience in an Older Adult area of practice. Practicum placements will take place in a variety of practice settings and may require travel.
