ServiceNow Software Engineer (Custom Development Focus, Remote)

Responsibilities
Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and/or traditional scoped application development
Build solutions beyond out-of-the-box functionality, including custom modules, data models, and platform extensions
Clone, extend, and customize existing ServiceNow modules to meet customer-specific requirements
Develop workflows, automation, and integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, third-party platforms)
Write, test, and debug ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer)
Develop custom UI components (UI Pages, UI Actions, Service Portal elements)
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices
Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including researching and adapting platform capabilities as needed
