Service Technician - WCB

JOB SUMMARY

The Service Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality in-house and field service support for Waukesha‑Cherry Burrell (WCB) equipment, with a primary focus on Scraped Surface Heat Exchangers (SSHE). This role performs standard and advanced equipment evaluations—including disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing—while adhering to company, customer, and site safety requirements with minimal supervision. The Service Technician serves as a key technical resource, collaborating closely with internal teams, channel partners, and customers to troubleshoot issues, document failure modes, and support root cause analysis. In addition to service execution, this role supports aftermarket growth initiatives by driving adoption of Aftermarket Programs, increasing genuine parts sales and service capture, and enhancing customer satisfaction across North America. The position requires extensive travel (50-70%), often on short notice.
