Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of marine navigation, communication, and electronic equipment onboard commercial vessels, offshore vessels, and marine installations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, calibration, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates reliably and complies with industry standards.
- Identify technical faults using appropriate testing equipment and recommend effective repair solutions to minimise vessel downtime.
- Respond to onboard service calls at ports, shipyards, customer premises, and offshore locations within Singapore and overseas when required.
- Compile accurate service reports, maintenance records, inspection findings, and technical documentation after each service assignment.
