Service Engineer (Submarine Cable)

• Diagnose and resolve faults across submarine cable systems, including optical line terminals and power feed equipment, to restore service within agreed timelines.
• Carry out routine maintenance and health checks on cables and associated transmission gear.
• Interpret cable fault data and pinpoint fault locations along the cable route.
• Coordinate with cable repair vessels and marine teams during fault localisation and recovery operations.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of terminal station equipment and power feeding systems.
• Monitor network performance and elevate anomalies promptly.
• Compile detailed technical reports, test records, and as‑built documentation for each maintenance or repair activity.
