Job Description

Job Purpose

Service Captains play an important role in operating the Sentosa Express, ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient commute for island visitors. This includes checking and preparing the train for service, ensuring procedures are strictly adhered to.

Responsibilities
Adhere strictly to the duty schedule and train service timetable. Ensure the train arrives and departs on time.
Ensure punctuality in handing/taking over of train.
Report alarms or any unusual occurrences to Operations Command Centre (OCC). Deal with monorail-borne defects and resetting procedures according to SOP.
Handling train system, signalling, and equipment fault. E.g., PGD/PSD failure, ETS/ESB operations.
Performing intervention procedures during train breakdown; and when required, to prepare and conduct train coupling and/or push/pull back to the depot according to approved procedures.
