Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity? The Sensory and Physical Teaching Service (SaPTS) is looking for Sensory Support Assistant to work in schools across East Riding supporting Children and Young People with a hearing impairment. This role requires the successful candidate to be based in two settings throughout a working week. A mileage allowance is payable.

SaPTS supports children and young people in education settings across the East Riding of Yorkshire. SaPTS aims to meet the needs of children and young people with hearing or vision impairment and physical disability from birth to 25 years of age. SaPTS is comprised of three teams, Hearing Impaired, Vision Impaired and Physical Difficulties. This role is initially for the Hearing Impaired team with the possibility of supporting the Vision team in the future dependent on service need.
