In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Research and propose alternative parts with effective solutions, considering avoiding major software & product calibration, hardware topology changes to replace EOL parts in NI products.
• Implement and simulate designs using CAD and synthesis tools, e.g., Mentor Graphics.
• Verify and validate hardware redesigns and debug issues that arise.
• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes during early VnV and MFG builds.
• Integrate DFM inputs from MFG to improve product yield & quality.
• Proactively create mock-up designs as POC to strengthen redesign proposals for final approval.
• Apply RCA techniques, such as fishbone diagrams, to identify root causes.
