About the Role

We are launching a new technology‑driven lending platform in Spain through the establishment of a regulated EFC. We are looking for a highly hands‑on Senior Underwriter to help shape the Spanish underwriting framework during a critical growth and licensing phase.

Responsibilities

Underwriting & Credit Assessment

• Perform complex manual underwriting assessments for consumer lending applications.
• Review affordability, income verification, bank transaction analysis and fraud indicators.
• Assess exceptions and borderline cases outside automated decision‑making rules.
• Ensure consistent and responsible lending decisions aligned with internal credit policies and Spanish regulatory expectations.

Credit Policy & Decisioning Framework

• Support the CRO in the development and refinement of underwriting policies, scorecards and affordability rules.
