Senior Trading Executive

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate physical iron ore trading contracts in line with agreed commercial terms and Sumitomo Group's internal guidelines.
• Manage end‑to‑end contract workflows by coordinating with internal stakeholders, Legal, and Risk Management to ensure accurate execution and compliance adhering to Sumitomo Group's internal guidelines.
• Conduct counterparty credit and financial assessments and submit internal applications in accordance with SER and Sumitomo Group's internal guidelines, including engaging in discussions and providing explanations to Japan headquarters and gathering relevant information through external consultants.
• Responsible for providing recommendations to the Trade Team on credit terms where counterparties are assessed to have high guarantee risks.
