Senior Tendering Engineer

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in tendering and preconstruction activities for MEP projects. The role involves reviewing tender packages, preparing competitive offers, conducting supplier outreach, and value engineering of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting.



Key Responsibilities:

•Analyze mechanical BOQs, specs, and drawings for tender preparation.

• Develop accurate cost estimates and technical proposals.

• Prepare prequalification and technical submission documents.

• Contact suppliers for quotations and technical validations.

• Propose alternative materials and methods to optimize cost/performance.

• Use AutoCAD to extract quantities and assess layouts.

• Coordinate with the electrical team for MEP integration.

• Ensure tender compliance and support negotiation phase.

• Prepare material submittals.
