Senior Technician-Road Closures

The Network Planning division is seeking to appoint someone who is enthusiastic, an excellent team player and has technical ability as well as an eye for detail, to work within their Street Works and Temporary Traffic Management Team.

As a Senior Technician, you will be working alongside other technical experts to co-ordinate various activities in the highway. You will be responsible for the operation of temporary traffic management, road closures and temporary traffic signals, ensuring these functions are carried out in the highway in order to provide a safe and reliable network for all users.

The role involves the assessment and review of proposed works within the highway, ensuring the methods used to carry out those works are suitable, safe and cause the least amount of disruption to the network.
