Senior Technician

Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Technician to join our Engineering team.

About the Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur within the Engineering Department, the Senior Technician is responsible for keeping all equipment in good repair with minimal downtime by providing day‑to‑day maintenance of the hotel. The Senior Technician reports to the Director of Engineering / Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer / Duty Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic checks on execution of policies and procedures, reporting to the Duty Engineer and/or Maintenance Engineer.
• Maintain and repair hotel facilities, equipment, and assets with minimal downtime, following safety regulations and energy‑management plans.
• Monitor and control repair, maintenance, and operational expenses while minimizing wastage.
