What You Will Do

• Perform hands‑on failure analysis, executing non‑destructive and destructive techniques, including sample preparation (lead rework, soldering, PCB extraction) and operating FA equipment such as microscopes, X‑ray, acoustic microscopy, SEM/EDX, and chemical/laser/mechanical decapsulation tools.
• Conduct electrical and physical characterization by operating bench instruments (curve tracer, multi‑temp testers) to verify failures, and using micro‑sectioning, polishing, and lapping to inspect device internals.
