Overview

Wärtsilä is a technology company focused on marine and energy markets. We are looking for a Technical Expert for our Propulsion Control Systems team, preferably in Rubbestadneset, Norway (Haugesund also considered). The role can be offered as Technical Expert or Senior Technical Expert.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and development of new solutions for discontinued components.
• Participating in development processes for Propulsion Control Systems, supporting product improvements and new releases by sharing field experiences and feedback.
• Providing technical advice, failure analysis, and condition analysis to other Services departments.
• Travelling globally onsite to perform field testing, site surveys, and failure investigations after product breakdowns.
• Actively engaging in personal competence development and acquiring knowledge within your expertise area.
