Senior Systems Administrator

**Description**

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to maintain and upgrade customer Linux, Windows, and cloud systems in a secure environment.

**Duties include but are not limited to:**

+ Perform full system upgrades and repairs (Linux and Windows).
+ Troubleshoot and repair operating system (OS) and hardware issues.
+ Perform daily and weekly system backups and recovery while maintaining a log of system problems, errors, failures, and downtime metrics.
+ Maintain hardware and software inventory lists and install software releases and upgrades.
+ Evaluate and install security patches.
+ Create and ensure operation of Active Directory and DNS.
+ Create accounts and set up user specific access while maintaining group policies and procedures.
+ Acquire system accreditation and ensures personnel comply with system security policies.
