The Senior Systems Accountant is responsible for leading the ongoing improvement, maintenance and effective operation of Maritime NZ’s finance and procurement systems, ensuring platforms are secure, integrated and aligned with business and operational requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and adaptable finance systems professional who is comfortable working across both strategic improvement and day‑to‑day operational demands. You will bring significant experience in complex finance environments, with strong expertise in enterprise finance systems, systems improvement, process optimisation and stakeholder engagement. You will be confident translating business needs into practical systems solutions, leading or contributing to change initiatives, and building strong relationships across technical and non‑technical teams.
