Senior Support Worker

The Role:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a central role in ensuring learners with additional needs can participate fully, safely and confidently in their education. You will lead a small team of Learning Support Assistants, coordinate high quality support, and build strong working relationships with families, local authorities and external professionals. This is a hands on role combining learner support, team leadership and collaborative planning.

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead and supervise LSAs, providing day to day guidance, coaching and mentoring to ensure learners’ needs are consistently met.

• Develop and maintain support plans, including risk assessments and PEEPs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

• Support learners with complex needs, including personal care, mobility support, physiotherapy exercises and health related tasks.
